SJTU and The University of New Mexico (UNM)have been exchanging undergraduate students for the past 5-6 years. More than 40 SJTU students have successfully completed their study at UNM and established research collaboration with faculty over UNM. To continue and strength this nice program, we would like to extend our Amigo Scholarship program to SJTU students who would like to seek a 1-2 year MS degree at UNM.
The Amigo Scholarship program allows qualified international graduate
students to pay in-state tuition rates. To complete a Master Degree,
you will need total 34 credits plus an exit exam. The current tuition
cost for Amigo Scholarship recipients is $277/credit or $3300 per
semester for 12-18 credits.
To apply for UNM Amigo Scholarship for Fall 2013, you need to complete
your application by February 15, 2013, and add your name to the UNM
Amigo list by emailing rshi@sjtu.edu.cn. We anticipate about 5 to 10
Amigo Scholarships particularly for SJTU students.
